OUR STORY

THE PASSION FOR PIZZA

Alex, Luiz, and Chef Rey have been lifelong friends, united by their passion of traditional woodfired pizza and the beach lifestyle. What started as a dream became a reality in 2020 when the three amici combined their diverse backgrounds and skills to bring their passion to life. Lagune Artisan Pizza Co was born.

 

Our Italian name "Lagune" reflects our roots, inspired by our prime location nestled between Wamberal and Terrigal lagoons in the heart of the stunning Central Coast community.

 

Lagune Artisan Pizza Co quickly became a local favourite. The overwhelming support from the Central Coast community saw us outgrow our original space.

In late 2023, we expanded to open Lagune Artisan Restaurant, a sit-down venue offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With Chef Eduardo joining the team, we introduced an enhanced menu featuring freshly baked focaccia sandwiches, vibrant salads, house-made pasta, and our signature woodfired pizzas. Guests can also enjoy Darks coffee, craft beer on tap, and a curated selection of local and Italian wines.

 

This expansion allowed us to better serve our customers by separating our operations into two dedicated venues. Lagune Artisan Pizza Co continues to provide our beloved woodfired pizzas, salads, arancini balls, and desserts for takeaway and delivery.

Our intentions remain unchanged: to deliver Italian-inspired cuisine infused with artisan passion and the distinct flavours of woodfire cooking. Every dish is crafted with care using premium local produce and authentic Italian ingredients. Simple!
